Projects

Learning 4 Sustainability Engagement
(Plastic Free Schools)

Our LSE project is dedicated to empowering young minds with the knowledge and values needed to build a sustainable future. We believe that shaping the minds of children early on is crucial for creating a generation of environmentally conscious and socially responsible individuals. Through this project, we bring the SDGs to life, making them accessible and relatable to children in their daily lives, fostering a deeper understanding of global challenges and inspiring action at the local level. One step at a time, we seek to expand the traditional educational curriculum to include a plastic education curriculum. In addition to classroom-based learning, we embark on an exciting journey to help schools break free from plastics. Our goal is to support 10 schools in Ghana to become plastic-free by 2027. We challenge students to #BreakFreeFromPlastic and actively engage in sustainable practices to reduce plastic waste within their school environment.

SchoolFood4Future

Children today are forming lifelong eating habits as we speak but we must take advantage of the window of opportunity that is given during childhood. The #SchoolFood4Future project sets out to redefine what it means to eat healthily and sustainably at school, while also addressing food education by expanding the curriculum. It also involves training and educating cooks, and caterers at the local level. In a nutshell, establishing a sustainable food culture in and around schools is the goal.

Mobile “Tent-Up” Library project
(call for donation Book Donation drive)

The project aims to establish mobile libraries by setting up book-filled tents to create accessible and inviting spaces where children and youth can engage with books and educational resources. Enabling a generation of empowered climate-adapted citizens begins with a strong literacy foundation. Going back to basics! with the goal of promoting literacy and fostering a love for reading among community members

Digital Dreams
(creating a digital hub + call for donation of laptops)

In the era of the digital revolution, access to technology and digital literacy have become essential components of education. Unfortunately, in the Ghanaian education system, there exists a digital divide that hinders the full potential of students, particularly those in underserved communities and semi-urban areas. The Digital Dream program is an initiative designed to bridge this divide and empower the next generation of learners at the early stage. By leveraging on existing educational infrastructure, we establish a digital community hub which aims to provide access to digital literacy skills to not only students but to the wider student kids in the community during vacations.
